Mee Hailam




MEE HAILAM



Bahan-Bahan:
600 gm mee kuning
100 gm isi ayam [hiris nipis]
100 gm udang
250 gm sawi hijau [potong kecil]
100 gm bunga kubis [hiris]
100 gm kobis [hiiris]
1 biji cili merah [mayang]
1 s/b lada hitam
3 s/b kicap pekat
3 s/b sos tomato
3 sudu besar minyak
1 cawan air
4 ulas bawang putih [ketuk]

Bahan hias
3 batang daun sup ]
3 batang daun bawang ] potong pendek
garam [jika perlu]

Cara:
1. Panaskan minyak dan tumiskan bawang putih sehingga wangi.
2. Masukkan ayam dan air. Biarkan sehingga lembut.
3. Bila ayam sudah masak, masukkan udang. Kacau rata.
4. Masukkan kicap, sos tomato, lada hitam dan mee kuning . Kacau rata.
5. Masukkan bahan sayuran lain. Kacau rata.
6. Angkat dan masukkan dalam pinggan dan taburkan daun sup & daun bawang.

INI CARA MAMA MASAK TADI, IKUT APA YANG ADA DALAM PETI SEJUK. Resepi Kak Liza hanya menjadi guidance mama sahaja.

1. Buat poached egg. Walaupun tak berapa jadi elok, tapi bolehlaaaa daripada tak de. Ketepikan.
2. Siang udang, basuh kulitnyanya dan masukkan air. Rebus untuk ambil stok. Ketepikan.
3. Panaskan sedikit minyak dan tumiskan bawang putih tumbuk dan sikit cili kisar, hingga garing dan wangi.
4. Masukkan ayam, udang dan kek ikan. Kacau rata.
5. Masukkan sos tomato, kicap pekat, kicap manis bersama stok udang dan juga batang sawi. Masukkan garam dan sedikit gula.
6. Masukkan mee kuning, tomato ceri dan kobis, kacau rata. Tolak mee ke tepi kuali dan masukkan poached egg.
7. Sebelum tutup api, masukkan daun sawi, kacau dan tutup api. Siap.

DOUBLE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES



DOUBLE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

Ingredients:
2 cups plain flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon bicarbonate soda
1/4 teaspoon emplex (I added)
1/2 teaspoon salt
226 g butter - softened (I used Planta)
3/4 Caster Sugar
3/4 cup light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 package Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips (DON'T use the minis) - I lessen this amout by A LOT

Method :

1. Preheat fan oven to 150°C. Please set according to your oven settings.
2. Stir together the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
3. In a separate bowl, beat together the butter/margarine and sugars until creamy. Add the eggs and vanilla. Beat for another minute or two until well blended. 
4. Gradually blend in the flour mixture.
5. Fold in the chocolate chips. (I skip this).
6. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto baking tray and place about an inch apart. Put 4 to 5 chocolate chips on top. *Refer note.
7. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes. Cool for a couple minutes on the baking sheet before moving the cookies to a cooling rack to cool completely.

Note : 
Reasons for doing this are :
1. Keen said her cookies are a bit sweet. She suggested to reduce the amount of chocolate chips.
2. Mama kedekut chocolate chips. Ha ah. Ngaku. Hahaha.

WHOLEMEAL TUNA SANDWICH



WHOLEMEAL TUNA SANDWICH

3 keping wholemeal bread
1 keping keju cheesedale
Tuna chillie
3 hiris tomato
sedikit salad
Cheezy salad sos Lady's Choice

Cara :
1. Di atas sekeping roti, susunkan salad. 
2. Ratakan tuna chillie atasnya.
3. Tutup dengan tomato.
4. Paipkan cheezy salad sos.
5. Tutupkan dengan sekeping lagi roti. 
6. Letakkan sekeping cheesedale.
7. Tutup dengan sekeping roti lagi.
8. Potong 4. Siap.

LEMPENG PISANG DAN OATS (BANANA AND OATS PANCAKE)




LEMPENG PISANG DAN OATS

1. Lenyek pisang. Masukkan gula, sedikit garam, sedikit baking powder dan sedikit bicarbonate soda. Kacau rata.
2. Masukkan oats.
3. Akhir sekali masukkan tepung gandum. Biar 10 minit.
4. Panaskan kuali leper dan letakkan sedikit Planta. Tuangkan bancuhan pisang dan ratakan. Tutup kuali. Masak api kecil.
5. Balikkan lempeng dan biar masak. Siap.

POTATO FRITTERS



POTATO FRITTERS

2 potatoes peeled grated - wash and strain. Squeeze slightly.
1 onion diced
1 egg
2 tablespoons plain flour
salt and pepper to taste

I added :
Scallions - cut small
Fresh chillie - chopped
1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Planta margarine

STEPS :

1. Combine potatoes, onion, scallion, fresh red chille with egg in a bowl.
2. Add flour and baking powder slowly until mixture comes together.
3. Add salt and pepper to taste.
4. Heat a small pan. Add margarine.
5. Add spoons full of mixture into frypan and flatten. Cover.
6. Turn and cook until golden on both sides.

FETTUCCINE CARBONARA VERSI PEDAS





FETTUCCINE CARBONARA VERSI PEDAS

BAHAN-BAHAN :
Fettuccine - rebus hingga lembut
Minyak jagung
Bawang besar - potong dadu
Bawang putih - tumbuk
Cili padi - tumbuk
Tomato - potong dadu
Cendawan shitake - dihiris
Susu segar Dutch Lady
Garam secukup rasa
Sosej daging - dihiris
Keju Cheddar - potong kecil
Serbuk oregano
Garam jika perlu

Keju Parmesan
Serbuk parsley

CARA :
1. Masukkan minyak jagung dalam kuali dan tumis bawang besar, bawang putih dan cili padi hingga wangi.
2. Masukkan tomato, cendawan butang, sosej dan susu segar. Kacau rata.
3. Masukkan keju Cheddar dan garam jika perlu. Masak hingga pekat.
4. Masukkan fettuccine dan kacau rata. Taburkan keju Parmesan dan serbuk Parsley.
5. Sedia dihidangkan.
